Development Director

Peter has a first class record of achievement, having recognition of his abilities and successes at the highest levels in Government, the private sector and the NHS. In addition to his role at Inventures, Peter is the Chief Advisor to Government on corporate estate matters, property, construction and facilities management for the NHS.

Peter has held Executive Director positions with responsibility for strategy, business planning and process re-engineering. He has had responsibility for construction, acquisition, facilities management and disposal of a substantial portfolio of complex health, educational, residential, industrial and office buildings.

Peter has undertaken a number of strategic service, estate and property reviews. He has also carried out, on behalf of government, the first review in 15 years of procurement, operation and disposal of the NHS Estate, which is the biggest portfolio in Europe.

Peter managed a number of major PPP's including the £2bn partnering programme with the construction industry. He has also managed the development and sale of surplus land and property with a value over £1.5bn and has led a number of high profile government programmes.
