Replacing the OGC’s former ‘SACS’ - Strategic Assignment Consultancy Service agreement - is the External Resource Framework, allowing all government bodies to procure consultants listed by name in the agreement, under the following roles:

• Act as Review team Leader and Review Team Member for High Risk OGC Gateway Project reviews
• Act as Review Team Leaders for Medium Risk OGC Gateway reviews of projects and programmes
• Work at main board level in reviewing major projects under the auspices of HM Treasury’s Major Project Review Group
• Work at main board level carrying out reviews of the procurement and project capability of government Departments (including Procurement Capability Reviews)
• Support Government Estate Transformation initiatives including the provision of advice at main board and senior levels on property asset management, strategy and capability reviews
• Provide advice at senior level on procurement, programme and project management, strategy and business case development

Inventures are one of seven Sourcing Partners listed on the framework agreement, with a number of named individual consultants. As a Sourcing Partner, we are invited to submit additional consultants at refresh opportunities throughout the length of the contract as skills gaps emerge. There are also 22 Consultant Suppliers with listed individual consultants. However, these companies are not invited to refresh.
