David has been with Inventures (formerly Capitec) since its inception in early 1990. Since then, he has assisted Inventures' development from a 12-strong local technical unit to the largest national NHS provider of healthcare consultancy services.

David's career began with the South West Regional Health Authority - Engineering, Design and Administration section - where he gained experience of the fundamentals of hospital planning and design through a wide range of NHS accommodation from large District General Hospitals to smaller Health Centre accommodation. David's knowledge and experience in healthcare projects developed further after joining a local District Health Authority in the 1980s.
