Chief Executive

David is the Chief Executive of Inventures. In 2005 he negotiated terms, raised debt and equity finance and purchased Inventures from the Department of Health (DH). David is a highly successful executive director having held senior board level positions in the NHS and DH. He launched and developed Capitec, the most successful property management consultancy in the NHS until it was acquired by NHS Estates in 1998. David then became a main board director of NHS Estates, responsible for all commercial activities including the launch of NHS International. In 2001, he joined forces with NHS Estates CEO Kate Priestley and became Chief Operating Officer of Inventures, taking over as CEO in 2004. With a background in project management, David is recognised as a leader in organisational development and the management of complex business change and construction projects within politically-sensitive environments.
