Inventures generously agreed to provide almost £500 sponsorship to Keynsham Town Ladies Under-11s football team, which has already been used to good effect in purchasing a completely new strip (including goalkeeping kit). The Under-11s team has never had the luxury of their own new kit before, always playing in hand-me-downs from the older girls' teams! The top scorer for the girls Under-10s last season was Vicky Powell, who is the daughter of Bath office Associate Director, Lesley Powell. Vicky scored 23 league goals last season and is well on her way to exceeding that total this season. She also played for the Bristol City Ladies Academy until it was disbanded at the end of last season.

Keynsham Town FC is situated between Bristol and Bath and the club is a very successful football club for men’s and especially ladies teams. The first ladies team was founded in 1993 and last season all four of the junior girl’s teams finished within the top four places of each of their Bristol Girl’s League.
